If the stain is not yet removed, you should put ammonia on a cotton swab. Then dab the stain from the outside in once in a circle. After this step, you must also rinse the iodine stain and fabric under warm running water. Finally, you should thoroughly clean the dirty spot with water. Tip: You can also use potatoes to remove fresh iodine stains on your skin. However, you should be careful with ammonia, as it is corrosive.
