In a house we park in the driveway and carry equipment in — setup is faster than anywhere in the city. Basements: finished-basement carpet holds humidity and odor; we note it at inspection and treat the odor source rather than just washing. Stairs are cleaned tread by tread with a hand tool.

Do you move the beds to clean under them?
Mattresses are cleaned on the bed. For carpet, beds stay in place and we clean around and under the edges; heavy furniture is not moved.
